Akrasia is a five piece metal band from Darwin. Known for their fast technical playing, Energetic performances and political lyrical content. They’ve shared the stage with Thrash Metal legends Hidden Intent, performed with national acts at TerrorLoud, and in 2024 their single “Blooding” won Music NT’s Northern Territory Music Awards Best Metal/Hardcore,

Their consistent performances have been a staple for the Darwin Metal scene for many years. And have paved their own path in an isolated heavy music scene at the top end of Australia.
